About the Owner

Hi! We’re Jessica and Brandon, and Onni at Bear Lake is our family’s little piece of Up North happiness. We live downstate with our family and have always loved the slower pace, natural beauty and simple traditions that make northern Michigan feel special. Onni is our second home as much as it is a vacation rental, and we’re excited to share a place where other families and friends can make their own Up North memories. Jessica is a travel planner by profession and a details person by nature. She has spent years helping families plan vacations where the little things matter—from where to stay and what to do to anticipating the questions you didn’t know you needed to ask. That same care goes into Onni. We want your stay to feel easy and well thought out, while still giving you the space to make the trip completely your own. Brandon is the practical half of the operation—the one who helps turn Jessica’s ideas and lists into reality—and together we’re continually working to make Onni comfortable, welcoming and a place we’re proud to call ours. For us, Onni is about creating a home we love spending time in ourselves and sharing it with people who appreciate this corner of Michigan as much as we do.
